Ben is a specialist in High Intensity Interval Training, Program Design (offline/online) General Fitness, Group Class and post Physical Therapy rehab with over 13 years of industry experience.
Ben graduated from UNCG with a BS in Exercise Sports Science and a Minor in Business. He returned to Charlotte, where he completed an internship at Velocity Sports Performance. His focus there was working with adolescents from middle school through college on speed, agility, strength and conditioning for various sports.
Ben views fitness as a life-long goal and something to work towards each and every day. His philosophy is, “the most important part of fitness is finding a program that both challenges and rewards you; something that is tailored to your inner athlete.”
Ben’s Goal with 224 Performance is to teach athletes to move correctly and efficiently in the gym so they can increase performance “on the field, court, pool etc.” His most important goal is keep athletes injury free as an athlete can’t compete/perform at his or her highest level when dealing with and injur
